Default Strange vibrations

I had my inner fairing replaced with new painted one. Took it for a test ride, now when revving the engine something sounds loose inside the fairing, any thoughts?? Dealership did install

Maybe they broke one of the fairing brackets. If they did the install I'd bring it back and tell them. If you're comfortable pulling off the outer fairing you can check things out for yourself prior to bringing it in. There is a pictorial tutorial on removing the out fairing in the DIY section of the forum.

It very easy for the wire harness to cause a noise inside the fairing if it wasn't tied down well. Put a thick towel or blanket over the front fender and remove the front outer shell of the fairing. It's usually easy to find something loose or something not properly tied down. As Dawg mentioned, it might be good idea to take it back to the dealer in case they broke one of the mounting tabs.

Thanks for the reply's. I called them and told them I was bringing it back in. I've had the outer fairing off my other bikes many times, but since I paid them to do it right it's going back!!
