2007 Road King Classic
What is a 2007 Road King Classic with 5500 miles on it worth . The bike has a rebuilt title . I know the shop that rebuilt the bike and I know he does good work. The bike has slipons and a programer but that is about it for addons . The bike looks flawless it was a minor crash that totaled the bike.

Most finance companies will not loan on a scrapped title vehicle, so resale value is tuff to say. I guess it is worth what it's worth to you. I've seen clear title 2007 RC's in the 13000-17000 range. I'd expect a few grand knocked off the NADA with a scrapped title.

Rule of thumb I see and used on savlaged titles is 50% of book. as resale for these vehicles suffer, but again, its worth what its worth to you, so dealing with salvaged/rebuilt title bikes it's totally up to you.

Convincing someone of the extent of the original damage is the issue. The bike can look OK but a few months of ownership could yield issues unseen during the initial look over. I'd be cautious but also remember...you just might get a great deal especially if you are going to keep the bike for a good while. Buying it and then trying to sell it in the near term might be iffy on getting your $$ back if you paid too much.
I'd say most would tend to shy away from these deals unless very cheap compared to clean title comparable.
