Lots of folks do it, just make sure it's not sitting right next to your gas furnace. If everything is right on your scoot there shouldn't be any fumes coming out.

Mine lives in the basement next to the pool table (just out of reach of cue sticks).

Dosen't hurt them at all to be inside. The showrooms and service departments are loaded with them. I keep my bikes, mowers, tractor, among other things in the garage..

Before my father had his garage built he would keep his in the basement. Had no problems with the fumes. If I recall correctly I think there might of been a couple years when it stayed in the dining room as well.

Kept mine in the basement for years before I had the garage. No problems that I encountered.

Default Where to keep the bike for the winter

years ago I put my bike in the kitchen for the winter. My young bride complained, so I moved it into the bedroom. Now I'm older and wiser. She has her own FLSTC and she parks it in the living room right next to my FLHTC..... Just kidding, we ride year round. Don and Pam

I gotta ask... do you all have walkout basements? If not, how are you getting your scoots up and down the steps??
