I've been looking to add some speakers to my 04 RKC. Any suggestions. I've looked into the J&M speakers and have heard nothing but good reviews of them, but they are pricey. Does anyone know of any other speakers that may be cheaper and/or smaller. I've heard there are some new speakers that are only about an inch or two big. I think the J&M ones are arond 4". Thanks for the help.
I went with the motorcycletunes and just got them mounted and hooked up. They look and sound good so far, but have not ridden with them. I'll let you know what I think in a few days.
So, swb. Do tell. How do you like the speakers? I'm considering the same option, but I like the 30 day return policy that Rumble Road offers. There is a 10% restock fee.
I have also considered the dragonfly flairing or the quadzilla fairing. Don't want to spend that much a/o not sure I to install a fairing just for some tunes.
The motorcycletunes certainly sound like the best deal, if they sound good and are loud enough. Tell us how they worked out. Thanks for all the info in your post.
I just finished a speaker box to mount in my windshield on my 2001 Roadking. Im running two 150w 2way 5 1/4 Kenwood in the windshield box, and two 6 1/4 Kenwood in the fairing lowers.
