Motorcycle Superstore http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com has great prices. I am about to order both front and rear in the Elite 3 for $208.98 shipped. On top of that getting a $20.00 gift check. This is for my 01 RK.
Hey guys.. well i went to go get the texas state inspection today.. note: i have never had to do a state inspection, what a pain in the ***. Well the local place said my rear tire didnt have enough tread on it to pass.. kinda pisses me off since i just bought the bike about a month ago. So..
from google i found that stock rear tire is.. DunlopŽ 170/60 R17 78H (white wall)
What tire do you guys sugggest? Should i stay the same size? same brand?
Do you have any webpages that will show some prices?
Well I think thats it for now.
Thanks
You've had the pre-owned bike for a month and haven't looked at the rear tire? That could be a little dangerous.
My local Harley dealer will match any tire price you can find. And installs while you wait, no appt needed. Beats having to order a tire online, have it shipped, then take your bike and a car to bring the tire with you to get it installed. Ask your local dealer if they price match, or at least come close when factoring in shipping, might be worth the convenience.
Right now my dealer is offering free installation of any tire you purchase from them. Check your dealers website for specials and coupons.
