Here in central Florida it is hard to find fuel with low ethanol. Although I've not had issues with my 09' Ultra, it does seem to run better with low, or no ethanol. I have easy access to 100LLC avaition fuel and run it in my soft tail and 4 wheeler at times. The service manual is pretty strick about octane additives and race fuel. Anyone have an opinion on mixing some up once in a while for the Ultra

 

I run Startron Starbrite additive that cures the 10% ethanol we have up here.

 

I always looks for high octane with no Ethanol, but there have been times where I didn't have a choice. HD says 10% is ok and I haven't had any problems either way. Has it caused you any problems so far?

 

Dawg, Where do You purchase Startron Starbrite? I have'nt seen any down here. Thanks!

 

My HD dealer sells it, so does the local Honda and power equipment shops. It was originally designed for boat motors so I would check with some marine shops if you can't find anywhere else.
