Do yourself a favor and go with the Sundowner. I have one of these on my '10 SG and love it. I've put almost 2,000 miles on that seat and it is great! My wife is also very comfortable on that seat.
Sundowner Deep Bucket Seat - Smooth

I am going through the exact same decision..... I personally think that the Sundowner looks to big and thick on the FLHX and the Mustang would be perfect except that it sits you 1" to 1.5" higher than stock which I don't care for...... I'm still looking.
Go with an 08 Road glide Seat.
They're supposed to be more comfy for your passenger and not as wide for the rider, allowing you to flat foot it easier.
i have a mustang sport touring i use when i travel or 2 up i also have a mustang solo i use most of the time.it is the same seat up front

I'm not trying to be an azz here but the question was:
pros and cons of each.
Saddlemen Explorer of Mustang one Piece SPORT TOURING
I knew he would get every seat option out there.
Don't get mad at me, I just did this for my own amusement.

Just to throw it out there the best seat I've seen by far is the Harley Hammock,it was to new when I bought my FLHX so I bought a Tallboy. The more I ride the more comfortable its gettin.

I have had saddleman bags but not a seat. The quality was not very good. They eventually fell apart. That has been the negative I have read about saddleman. Not saying that is the norm just that is the negative comments I have read. I have had mustang seats and they were very comfortable. If the choice is only between these two I would choose the mustang. Their quality is very good. I would go with the solo with the passenger pad as opposed to the sport tourer. It gives you the option of having different looks.
That said, I really don't like the look of either. I spent a lot of time looking at seats for my SG. I spend most of my time solo so I went with comfort for me and looks. I went with a C&C. It has been the best seat I have ever had. I do use a sundowner when I ride with the wife. It is a very comfortable seat as well.
