Default Passing light mod

OK, started to do the mod today, finally figured out that I have to turn the key counterclockwise on an 06 Ultra. The DIY says clockwise. I then pull out the ignigion lock switch and put it aside. Take the two torx bolts off the side of the switch cover, still can't get the sw. cover off cause of the plate that says on off and assy. Seems like nothing is simple for me. Anyone shed some light on this? Thanks

I thought that there was some little button under there that you had to press in order to pull the switch off too??

The switch came off just fine, but the 4 toggle switch cover will not clear the part that is left after taking the lock off.

Ya gotta take off the retaining nut. Take a good look and you'll see what to do.

Manual is my next purchase, don't see any nut to remove just the collar for the locking shaft to go in.
