Hinge stops for 4 point docking system
As you may know I have an 09 RKC. On this bike I have a four point docking system. The problem was that after installing the 4 point system, when I open my saddlebag lids the top side of the lid hits the docking kit and could immediately tell that it was going to damage the leather where it was hitting. So, I installed the saddlebag hinge stop kit. Well it fixed the problem but this severely limits how far you can open the saddlebag lids. Does anyone have a remedy for this problem?

Skip the hinge stop and install the chrome caps instead. Keeps the screw heads from digging into the leather, and dresses up the look of the docking kit when nothing is attached. I think I gave around $50 or so for the caps.
