My first mistake when I bought my first harley a few years back, was to order through the dealer, and went through the same problem your are going through.

Next time you order something, try Eastern Performance. They use to be a sponsor here. I have ordered several items from them, most recently my V&H Bigshots...ordered them on a friday and had them the following monday...2 days, and free shipping on larger purchases. I have a small shop do my work, so he can get me in and out pretty quickly.

Jack
+ 1 for Easternperformance.

The only person you should be mad at, is yourself.
I dropped the bike off at the shop because of all the other things I am having put on it. Like the heavy breather, race tuner, grips, levers and some other stuff. But when I dropped the bike off I was really tied up with work, so I was not riding it anyways. Then my wife wrecked her car so I could not ride the bike anyways seeing I have to drive her to work and pick the kids up from daycare everyday.

But you know, you are right. I shouldn't be mad because my dealership lied to me about when they would be getting my parts in. I should be mad at myself because I work 10 plus hours a day, try to get my wifes car fixed and take care of my kids.

Be mad at V&H your dealer has no contol over V&H shipping dept or inventory. I'm sure your dealer would like your bike out of their shop to make room for other work.

Guess your stuck if they installed the race tuner and you don't want to get charged for 2 downloads--stock pipes & later Dresser Duels/V&H pipes. If you have a laptop, I belive you can DIY. At least that's what I can do with my PCIII.

All other reasons, GO GET YOUR BIKE & make that Toys 4 Tots Run Brother!

Bitch, whine, moan. Don't know to whom it's directed. Just wanted to bitch, whine and moan and this looked like the appropriate place to do it.

"Second day air" is "Second day air", period.

If your dealer is flat out lying to your face, they suck, and may very well be on COD with their vendors, landlord, etc.

A lot of folks are getting screwed by dealers in trouble and, of course, the customer is the last one to know.
