thanks for the info.glad to hear that they look better in person.they will be on my list for this winter.
Yes the chrome is much better and the heat shields coverage is really good.
Where are you in VT.? I'm hoping to get one more ride in up RT 7 to Manchester.
performance wise you probably wont do much better than the stock '09 headpipes. the power duals or the set-up from fuel moto might give ya a couple extra hp/tq at best. is it worth it? your call. personally i am considering one of those 2 when i do my 103 kit. my stock headpipes have the cat in them and from what i have read, once you have a motor capable of 90+ hp the cats become a limmiting factor.....
I agree. Unless you are over 90 then the stock is fine.
I think the PDs are giving my bike the big mid range that it has, but are holding it back up high. A straight 2-1 could get more power, but I dont like the look so I will put up will a slight loss in top end.

i am in barre.don't get down that far very often.we are done riden up hear, they where puttin down salt sat morning
An 09 shouldn' have a cat unless it is a california bike. I like my power duals for the sound but I don't think the power is much different if at all over the stock 09 header.
I am also running monster ovals.
I want the true dual exhaust and sound out both pipes. Will the PD's give you that, or should I go with the Touring Duals, which is a true dual system?
i dont know first hand about the power duals but i have an 07 street glide and had the big shot true duals from vance and hines and they were horrible pipes it felt like i actually lost power over stock header pipes and slips. i ended taking them off and switching to rinehart true duals and it made a huge difference way more power and a way better sounding exhaust

With my setup I have sound out of both mufflers, something like 60-40,it really sounds good.
