Been thinking of a side car for my 07 street glide. Any body have one, if so any info would be great , ie price ,handleing ,taking it off and putting it back on, etc.
Goods & bads with side cars. although you dont have to hold it up at a stop & you can take your dog with you, their hard on clutches, stop & go traffic is a bitch & you have to learn how to ride with one bolted on because you could end up in the rhubarb if you dont know how!
Also hard on swing arm bushings. If you get one, buy one that un hooks without a lot of screwing around for those days that you feel like scraping foot pegs! Here in Canada, you find them new for around $3000. That does not include mounting hardware!
Sputnik's are cheap and rugged!!
Hemel, you may want to post this over in the Hacked, Triked & Trailing Section; a lot of folks with experience and useful information hang out there!
from experience, your bike will get ten times the attention it gets now.....and if you throw a dog in there....forget about it....women will flock to see the little puppy. so if your single, its great!!!

Thats true.
My fatherinlaw had one his '05 Road Kind classic.Where ever we went ,It would draw a crowd.
Handling is totally different, watch out for those right hand turns. His wife would
hang out the side some times to keep the side car wheel down!
Your fuel milage will suck and you will notice a lack of power on hills with a passenger.
