Take the gas cap off, then replace, try to start. Happen to a bud a while back, defective seal? He could only run a few yards. New gas cap, problem solved, in his case. I had never seen that happen before.
I took off the cap, and turned the ign. on.. I can hear what sounds like fuel spay in the tank, but I dont see fuel spay.. I've taken the cap off, and replaced a few times.. But should I hear what sounds like fuel spraying in the tank?
Unhook that fuel line disconnect and see if there if fuel in the line under pressure. Mine was NOT and it turned out that the disconnect fitting itself was bad, couldn't get fuel. (of course, this could also mean fuel pump or a few other things too)
This happened to me at about 20,000 miles on my '07. One clue was when you would spin the chrome part that you lift to disconnect...it had a "catch" in it, wouldn't spin smoothly.
