521.90 is 20% off msrp. If it's that much shipped they are eating the shipping cost. I found another place for the same price with free shipping.Sounds good. I would need black pearl so 450 would'nt be any deal after paint. The OPs bike is'nt vivid black either.By the way r8rs4lf nice bike, I almost bought that same bike but went with a SG. Always thought your bike had that simple clean, but tough look.
But there was a pearl black that was listed that went for under $500.00 you just have to keep looking.
IF you CALL Lakeshore - they will NOT quote internet pricing... LSHD always has free shipping + 20% when over $500 - twice in the last 30 days, they have offered free shipping on $100 and over orders... I did a lot of shopping then... I will not have to get oil or filters for some time..
One my Road King which has the same mounting no problems. The only thing I don't like is the clutch cable rubs against the lower fairing. I have on order the forged tube mounts for the cables to hold in place. Which is not bad more chrome.
Also, doubt this works for you in Seoul, Korea, but I usually see the parts manager at my local HD store and ask her to match Zanotti's price on big ticket items. Sometimes she does and sometimes she doesn't, but it seems to help with the relationship. She's helped me out numerous times with odd ball requests (e.g. robbing a part from a kit so I can have the part now rather than waiting for the part to be ordered and shipped to the dealership, among other examples).
Called Lake Shore and they wanted $534.96 shipped.
Called a local HD Dealer and they wanted $649.00.
I went ahead and ordered from Zanottis @ $521.90 shipped.
Thanks man! That's exactly what I'm shooting for, that clean simple look. Did you get the black denim SG?
No, pewter denim was offered in 09. I went with black pearl. I should have got the pewter denim. Had a Street Bob that color. My left saddle bag has some scuffs so I think I may get denim clear shot over the black pearl now that I have seen it on the stripes on Inzane's bike. Looks like flat charcoal gray.Just holding out till I get a few more scuffs and dings. Let me know how the ordering goes. I am thinking of getting some lowers.
I ordered mine from Lakeshore HD. Consider getting the glove box inserts. They are a nice addition to keep loose items from rattling on the plastic. I picked mine up from a dealer. They were around twenty bucks.
