Trouble pulling cam cover
So I am in the process of pulling a few corroded components off my bike for stripping and fresh powder coat. One of the pieces is the cam cover.
As I was following the manual, I discovered the cable that runs THROUGH the cam cover on my 2001 Road King that feeds the cam position sensor. The manual essentially says to follow the cable to its source for removal. The cover cannot be removed without the cable disconnected and snaked out from the far side of things.
Unfortunately, I keep losing the stupid cable in the conduits and have no idea where its is supposed to end up. Any suggestions?
