Getting ready to order a clear taillight lense for an 08 streetglide, what type of bulb do I need a standard 1157 two pronge bulb or the newer wedge push pronge ( don't know how else to explain it) At work now so I can't go look. Thanks.

If you mean the turn signals or run/turn in my case it is a 1034 bulb. A single contact on the bottom. the bike does voltage change to increase brightness. Least that is how it is for the '02 in my garage.

 

I'm wondering if a bulb will come with your new tail light lens.....mine did,
so maybe yours will.

My '08 RG uses a 'wedge style' tail light bulb.....can we assume
all touring bikes require same bulbs back there ??

 

I just got my smoked lens and installed it yesterday. It came from Drag specialties and did have a multiple led bulb in the package. nice!

 

thanks guys I went ahead and ordered figured I'd just pick up the bulb locally. Noticed the bulb was included.
