Default Fairing Lowers

Are there any fitment issues with hard fairing lowers from an 04' Road Glide installing on an 05' Road King Classic?
Thanks, RR

Going from a Road Glide to a Road King, no issues. They should fit fine as it is the same engine guard. If it were the other way around I would ask if they were vented or not, but even then you could change a few things and get around it.

Thanks Dawg! My son came across a set from a buddy and asked if I wanted them. I don' know if they are vented or not yet. Still not sure as i would have to change engine guard pegs. Now I only use soft lowers occasionally.

I thought the Road Glide had their own lowers because they weren't interchangable with the rest of the HD baggers

Electra Glide Lowers will not fit the 2009 and earlier FLT models due Fairing clearance issues. They will fit all 2010 Touring models. Now the FLTX due to the realignment of the Fairing.

The FLT Lowers will fit 1979 and later FLHT (Rubber Glide)Electra Glide models but they have a flat area on the top that causes more air to pass over the top.

Only thing you will find a issue with is your highway pegs

I ordered and waiting for my Lower Fairings to come in. I don't think my current Highway Pegs will work. What are some of the other pegs that will?
Thanks

I dont see why you should have to change pegs. I kept the hwy pegs from my roadking, and now run them on my Roadglide. Both bikes had/have lowers.
