I ordered a 21" Ride Wight wheel tire combo and should have it by next week. I have never pulled the front wheel on my 2002 RKC. Did pull a rear off my shaft drive metric a several years ago with no problems. Any pitfalls I should be aware of? I am not a mechanic but do what I can to save a buck. Usually have an Indy swap out my tires when needed.. I know I may have to drill out the rear fender bracket to make it fit. I went with a 21x3.5 wheel with a 90/90 tire so it may fit without rubbing. Sam at Ride Wright said they have been doing this and this is what he has on his bikes... Ride safe, Mike

No Biggie Mike, take everything off and line it up the way it came off, 1 line to the right and 1 line to the left and assemble the same way. No confusion.
Mike,
Congrats on the new wheels.
I've had mine a couple months now.
Did you do anything to them as far as coloring, or stick with chrome?
I had my rims/hubs/spokes powdercoated gloss black...nipples were done in Mirage Orange Pearl.
Im interested in doing the 21" / 18" combo. I cant seem to find any website that sells the wheels that has detailed pics of the different choices they sell. Can someone lead me to a website that shows a lot of choices for the 21" wheels?

Congrats, man. Post some pics when you get it done. I've been considering going with a 21" spoke front wheel myself.
BTW, about the 90/90 on a 3.5... that's going to work in terms of safety and handling?
At what point do you have to change the front fender?
I was thinking of stepping up to an 18" wheel just because I thought you had to change the fender for a 21".
Is that not so?

You can run the stock fender with a 21" wheel.
You may have to slightly enlard the rear mounting holes and tilt the fender a bit...other than that, you'll be OK.
I decided to stay with all chrome. Having a 2002 pearl white RKC I wanted to stay with a somewhat "classic" look. I bet your spokes look really good with your custom paint. Nice ride.. Ride safe, Mike
