I'd just like to say that the rest of the build is often just as responsible for loud as the pipes are. For instance, the Screamin' Eagle slip-ons weren't nearly as loud on my 98" build with stock headers.
The true duals and the bigger engine do make it louder.
I use to have a springer softtail w/ sampson fishtails. They were just plain nasty!!! Current bike, cvo roadglide w/ v&h dresser duals & rineharts slipons. What i really like about this set up is. Quite when it needs to be but loud when you get on it! There's so misunderstanding that it's a harley coming past you!
the dynotuned jackpots are just a bit quieter however fuelmoto has several baffle choices for there jackpots.
This is why I bought the Jackpots, if you get tired of one sound for only $99 bucks you can change the sound, also Jamie at Fule Moto is so informative, knowledgeable and a really nice guy.
Do you have a source for Rineharts? They are not being made at this time to my knowledge.
I purchased my Rineharts from Dennis Kirk at a great price. If you visit Rinehart's website they have parted ways with Bub and now going to have Custom Chrome do their work.
After listening to both and doing a bunch of research here and in the field, I went with the Jackpots. Rinharts had a little bit of a Tinny Crackle in the Sound and the Jackpots are a Deep Rumble. I was gung-ho to go Rinehart Tru-Dual before I found this site. I wanted a nice deep tone that was comfortable at cruise with a good performance gain.
On this site I learned that unless you do more engine work, you would sacrifice power in the area I was looking for for that stereo sound from the True Duals. Did not like the look of the 2-1 systems so ended up going with the Jackpot Dyno-Tuned slip ons. Best investment I have made, great bang for the buck and they sound great.
Many good write ups on this site on performance gains. Plus you can change the baffles to set the sound to your level.
