Nothing. I carry a couple micro fibers and use some clean water to clean the windshield. The rest don't get done till I get home.

What do you use to knock off dust when you get home? The parking garage at work seems to deposit alot of dust daily on my bike and it's too damn cold to be doing a complete wash this time of year for a little dust.

I keep rags in my bags and wipe down when I stop for a smoke or gas. Seems to come off a lot easier than letting it stay on until after the ride.

Doesn't this leave scratches in the paint which dull the shine.

While on a trip, I leave the detailed cleaning for when I get home. During a trip I carry a small spray bottle of hydrogen peroxide and water (50/50 mix). Spray it on the windshield and fairings, let set about 1 min, and wipe bugs off with a microfiber cloth. Works great and will not harm paint. Sometimes I follow up with Lemon Pledge.
