I had the 10" Wild1 bars on my 2001 EGC but I found that the pullback was too great. I am 6'3" and have 37" arms (sleeve length). On my 2005, I used the Cyclesmith 10" which have less pullback. Worked better for me. I would like to go higher but don't want my hands above the fairing.

Depends on what you are trying to achieve. Do you want them for looks or are you trying to get a more comfortable riding position. I am 5' 8" so I just installed the Klochwerks Ergo Bars Back (2" taller than stock, 1" back). I wanted to get rid of the hunched position (had my seat altered so sit low and further back). They feel good but I have not completed the new cabling and brake lines. If you have fairng mirrors they will block them somewhat. I will install control mounted minis.

Put 8.5" on my RK a few years ago, gave 2" more rise than stock if i remember and no cables/wires. After a few months changed them out to 14" Cubbys with new cables, internal wiring , etc. Never looked back, shoulder height and awesome!

mslater741.. awsome looking ride. I like the look of the 10" chubby's. My ride is an 07 Ultra and it's comfortable, but I sometimes find myself hunched forward. Won't realize it until my shoulders start getting tight. The mini apes might fix that.

Does anyone know if I'd have to get a wiring extention kit to install them? Do you have to remove the fairing and how difficult is that?

RK High Handlebars 55954-00 8.5" rise. No cable change required. A little weasle dickery with the stock brake lines and your good to go. Changed out to 12.5 chubbs a year later. RK High Bars did not have enough pullback for me (5' 7" 33/34 sleeve) Pic is the Road King High Bars. Signature is 12.5s
