Ya know, Larry Flynt once said (and this is not an exact quote, but pretty close) " What good is freedom of speech if it only applies to un-offensive speech". He is right. Generally the controlling party likes to say what they want then complain about the other side when they say something those in power don't like.
Being not a member of ANY party, I say, Say what ever you want. If some ***** gets offended, **** 'em. It's a free country, or at least it's supposed to be.
And by the way, my opinion is that any discussion of the EPA or any other regulatory agency that controls what happens with motorcycles, is on topic because in some way it comes back to motorcycles, even if it begins with some other "industry". Once a government does something to one group, it then does it to another.
The Jew after WWII: the ****'s first came after the gays. I was not gay, so I did not protest. Te **** then came after the blacks, I was not black, so I did not protest. When they came after the Jews, there was no one left to protest for me.

Any state's DMV regulations can require a retrofit of any vehicle that they legislatively decide requires pollution controls, at the owner's expense, to receive licensing for use on public highways. "Grandfathering" will only apply if the law specifically allows it.
