tssm modual?

tssm modual?
can anybody tell me if part number 68922-00a has the security feature in it ? looked at fuses and there is a fuse in the slot for security , but i didnt get fob when i bought bike .... thanks

68922-00A shows "Security System Module" Has since been superseded to -00D. If you PM me your VIN I can run it and see for sure if it has security. If it has security you can get fobs at a dealer.

It is a security system module part number. I had the same situation when I bought my bike I didn't know it had the security system. The TSSM was on bike, but I did not get any fobs.
After I found the part number was a security module, I bought a couple of fobs from the dealer.
Unlike newer model bikes, the older pushbutton fobs used on our bike can be married to the bike using the ignition switch and turn signals. The procedure is in the owners manual. No dealer labor required.
After you get the fobs, you can access the code entered as the manual over-ride to kill the security if it is On and you lose a fob. It is another procedure in the owners manual. You can also change the code to something you can recall after you get the fobs.
