I have 1 Chrome spare filter but just ordered 4 Black ones from Lake Shore HD.

No more Chrome ones at twice the price at the local Stealership for me.

I think I paid about $11 for the Black one. Black filters make your bike faster.

I have ordered all my WIX filters from www.filter1.com for 3 or more yrs.
Nov. 08 I ordered $183. worth of WIX filters. Wifes Liberty filter was $4.83.
My Hemi filter was $4.52. I am thinking the Harley filter 51348 will be less
than $5.00...FREE SHIPPING with an order of over $50.00..........Tenn.Vol.

Plus everybody says black is faster, and I figured that a little more black would increase my speed a little more

It's true. Why do you think the bottom of a teapot is polished?? Because it heats up quicker. Radiators are black for the opposite reason, to dissipate heat better.
