It was a dog. Now if it was momma that the hole needed to be dug for, I can see someone being pissed! Sounds like they loved the animal more than they respect you.

WOW, LMAO.Winters not even here yet!!!
I must be really insensitive, and or have a really understanding wife. I did load the family dog into to the back of the car so the wife could take him into to the vet to be put down. Meanwhile my buddies and I left for the rally. Three days later, I came home and see his cremated remains in a cedar box on the piano. I didn't say a word about the extra cost.
You don't think maybe he had to sell his bike?.......No, not that!
Seriously, I got this buddy who for two years now keeps saying he's gonna buy a scoot "next month, unless the wife changes her mind". Poor guy....Still no scoot, so he rides one of my spares(when she let's him).
Maybe I'm different, but with my first wife of 24 years, I never asked or even mentioned it, I'd just come home with a new one every 2 years and that was the end of it. I've been single so long now that I sometimes laff at the housebroken guys I know. I respect their marriage, but I see and hear things from their wives that make me want to slap them or at least feel insulted/disrespected. For some reason my buds don't see or hear it.
Well, I can't exactly relate because I burried that friggin poodle that I hated in a driving rain storm. Now I got a purse story that'll rip your guts out.
