Default FLHTC Mirrors

I have a 2009 FLHTC and wanted to remove the mirrors, I personally prefer the ones mounted on the handlebars. Does anyone know how to remove them? Also – where could I find a cover or cap for the hole left once the mirrors are removed?

Thank you.

Doesn't the FLHTC come with mirrors on the handlebars?

Anyhow, if you're talking fairing mirrors you can find plugs that match the inner fairing pretty dead on at Lowes, Ace, Home Depot, etc. Also, you would have to remove the outer fairing/windshield to get the two bolts off each mirror from behind.

Thank you! My Classic had the mirrors on the fairing. I know the Ultra has them on the handlebars.

Wow, never thought of Lowes, Ace or Home depot style store for this... Thank you!
