Default CB Question
Got a 2010 RG, wife was going to get me a CB for Christmas, stopped by the dealership and service advised her that I would have to get a new radio with the CB function....I thought all the HK radios were the same....I know it would have to be flashed for CB operation, but a new radio? that sounds like BS to me.....

Guess I'm going with the J&M unit....

Still, gotta throw the BS flag on the dealer...or am I wrong.

Same radio, just plug the CB module into it. I can see where they would tell you that because if you look at it in the catalog it shows a picture of the HK radio under each thing like the CB and the NAV and it kinda looks like it's the whole radio, but it's just the module.

You can easily upgrade to the module, but you also need the harness, and a couple of other items; they only total to almost 1000.00. Still trying to justify this one!

Buy a Limited, it comes with a CB standard.

I'd think twice about spending that much on an item you may rarely use.
I have an 07 Ultra and never use it.
Maybe would if I traveled with groups that use them.
