I'm trying to install the old style visors on the passing lamps of an '09 RKC. The headlights and turn signals went really smooth and easy. On the passing lamps I can't get the trim ring tight enough so that the visor won't slide around the lamp. I'm talking about visor part # 67796-91T. I also got the passing lamp trim ring that it says to use part # 68775-93TA. Am I missing something or does someone have a trick to keeping this visor in place once installed? Thanks in advance for any help!
Well......it looks like you selected the correct part #'s, so they "should" fit.
Try this.....on the visor, apply 3-4 layers of electrical tape along the top rear edge, and one on the bottom. Keep the edge of the tape centered in the groove, then trim if off even(razor blade) with the visor once installed.
That should allow the outer ring to clamp more tightly, and also prevent the visor from spinning.
