Diamondback braided line question
Last time I checked on HD's website, I found some interesting verbage on their chrome front caliper covers.
It says: "Will not work with braided lines":

It even says it on the installation sheet. Are the braided lines that much fatter than the stock lines that the split grommet won't go over them? This seems a bit strange.
Anyone provide any insight? Or is it to get me to spend 10 times as much on chrome calipers?

Interesting. I guess it would depend on which braided lines a person has? Mine are Goodridge, and seem to have the same entry point/angle as the stock, but haven't tried them with the covers.
