Tour Pak...plugging factory holes??
My tour pak is on my workbench in the basement and my SG is taking it's winter nap in the garage.
Modcobra, as for using plugs, I just didn't want to stick another $100 plus into it paying to have them filled & painted.
The whole idea of going with the tourpak was that a detachable backrest and luggage rack was
going to run over $500. I'm into this tourpak setup for around $900. That's a hell of alot better for me for just $400 more.
With plugs, I could quickly switch to a king pad if I wanted too in the future.
Don't know if I would, but it leaves that door open if the front edges of the tour pak ever get damaged.
