I have the cast wheels on my '09 Ultra but have always liked the spokes.

The TP is great for touring but gives the bike an old fogey look around town. Which I guess is the same reason why you don't have one your Night train

Confident you will not regret it. Use the savings to upgrade the engine or add those things you desire. The ABS is worth it IMO.

Gotta tell you. Never thought the ABS was a big deal till I drove my friends Ultra with the ABS. You made the right choice to buy the Classic with the ABS. Maybe you can find some lowers & a tourpak on Ebay later if you so desire.

Why would he be shopping for a tour-pak if the Claasic's got one ?. Lowers...I can understand, but TP ???.

To me the deciding factor was really the look of the bike. I compared them side by side. It just looks a little more sportier than the Ultra. Nothing against the Ultra but it just looks like it has too much crap hanging off of it. Didn't really like the looks of the lowers or the pin striping on the Ultra, yes the pin striping is different. No pics yet, been out of town working but should have some soon.
