I just installed the auxiliary passing lights on the Street Glide and was wondering if anyone knew what the replacement bulb number is.
I have a Sylvania Silver Star Ultra head light and would like to get a comparable replacement bulb for the passing lights but I'm not sure what the bulb number would be. I've searched but have seen a lot of different numbers listed and I'm totally confused know. Just want to make sure I get the right one in the beginning.
881. I don't believe they have that in a silverstar. The 881 is only 27 watts. You can use an 886 which is 50 watts and shouldn't give you problems either.
Doing a little more research it looks like the 880ST or the 883ST, the 880 is 27 watts while the 883 is 37.5 watts both are straight and not the angled base but from what I've been reading it looks like they should fit the housing. Did a search at a couple of parts stores and can find the 886ST just the 886 which is 50 watt but shows only 3200K where both the 880 and 883 are 4000K which is closer to the Silver Star Ultra at 4100K.
Will try the 883ST out first.
