After 14 riding seasons on my FXDL, our wedding on the bike, 5 trips to Laconia, several to Lake George, and not too mention all the weekend trips all over NY State and up into Canada... my wife agreed with me that its time to get a Road King. We test drove most of the touring models and for us, liked the King the best. Now I am in hurry up and wait mode, waiting for the bike to arrive in February. I love my Dyna, and we are keeping it... but I am looking forward to the comfort of the Road King on those long trips. Its like being a kid on Christmas. I want the bike pretty much left stock other than the 103" we are having installed by the dealer and some Vance & Hines products along with it... maybe a few cosmetic bolt on's like the usual chrome and such, like lighting trim rings and smoked signal covers. You know the drill.... Man I am excited!
Sorry for the basically meaningless post... I'm sure though that most of you have been in my shoes at some point waiting for the new HD!!!

My wedding bike too Congrats on the King. What Color?
Glad to hear it and a great big Congratulations!!! When the time comes for me to get a new bike I will never get rid of my 01 RK. Too much time, money, blood, sweat and effort put into getting it to where it is today. Then there is the fact that is is the best looking bike on the road.....
Best of luck!!!
