I hope I don't get the forum, myself or anyone else into trouble over this but here it goes. Today I received the disc and it appears to be legitimate, has Harley Davidson logo and appears to be something a shop would have. Your thoughts????

You can buy CD stamping kit for $20 at Staples, put an HD logo on it, and it looks legit. It aint.
Again, I have to ask - why wouldn't HD sell it directly (or thru dealers) like everything else they sell?

As an example, I used to buy bootleg CD's of Grateful Dead shows, the production values on those CD's and the covers were as good and often better than commercial releases.

Well, I justified it because I never bought anything bootleg that GD Productions was selling, and I bought most recordings they did sell, so it wasn't like I was taking $ away from them.
I like .pdf's because I can view them on a 17" notebook or a 24" desktop for a lot better clarity and then print out only the page I need. Plus, I can search a specific word or topic and not go through numerous pages trying to find the exact answer.
What he said. PLUS, I can actually magnify the pictures and diagrams up to where even I, at my age, with my eyes, can see them! Damn hard to do with a hard copy manual!

Yes, you can do all those things with a PDF. So buy the hard copy manual and scan in what you need.
I've tried both when working on cars over the years.
While you do have the convenience of printing only the few pages that you need, is still almost ALWAYS ended up with a greasy guy greasing up his keyboard.
The digital stuff just never worked out for me during a big project.
I have no problem with black fingerprints in my book. Makes the section easier to find next time.

Its not legit but unless the seller gets caught then he is gonna just make money till the buyers dry up.. The one I have is a fake and I knew it when I bought it . Hell once when I was 15 I even stole a pack of cigarettes . Yup im a law breaking outlaw . I also drive over the speed limit and iv been known to make a cocktail for the drive ...
There that should take the load off you for a while ....
Unsure of their legitimacy I inquired about these PDF manuals here a few months back, and was quickly informed that they were not legit. The concept is excellent and I wish HD would offer these on a PDF disk, as it would make the manual much easier to work with, complete with a search function and very quick access to chapters, etc.
