I'm sorry but I sure wouldn't trust my Ultra on one the HF lifts. I bought one from Complete Hydraulics and it is built like a tank. With the Ultra on it and raised full up, there is no shaking, movement, or anything...rock solid. The hydraulic tank looks like it is off a dump truck. It is a Handy lift clone, but much cheaper. Came with the side extensions and frame lift. I use it as a daily parker for the Ultra. Here is the link if anyone is interested. http://www.completehydraulic.com/lif...cle-tcmlw.html
Have you got a side shot of it on the lift? I was wondering where the back tire hits as compared to the HF one in the above post.
Here is a side shot. I have the lift extension on it since it makes it easier to use as a daily parker, so the rear tire is past the rear dropout panel. I have also after this pic was taken replaced the front wheel clamp with a wheeldock, also to make it easier to park daily on it.

Even without the lift extension it looks like your rear tire wouldn't go back as far as it does on the HF one.
For the same reason we support Chinese made HD stuff.
But seriously ... thanks for posting the pics Jerry (tnharley7) ... can you clear something up? How do you drop the back piece off and get access to the rear wheel? It looks like you're positioned too far in front ...
For what it's worth, I've gots lots of HF stuff (plus Craftsman, Husky, and many other brands). I've never had a problem with HF tools. I'm not a professional mechanic, though, so I don't put the strain on them someone else might. With the 20% off coupon it sure looks like it is time to buy the HF lift, though.
DZLDR does the ramp on the lift lock in teh upright position so its level with the table, the rear tiree looks very close to the edge. I think I will get this one today, but I will maint it to match Tnharley7 scheme (nice shop tnharley7).

I'm happy with the HF 1200lb lift. The Complete Hydraulics looks like a nice table but it's probably overkill for a home garage. Looks like you have the $59 scissor jack sitting there. Do you trust that one?
