I think Harley would have a tough time voiding any warranty because you installed a PCV if that is all you have done.
1. Until the race tuner came along they would sell you one as as fast as you could break out your wallet.
2. Most dealers still have "Dyna Jet" tuning center stuff very visible in their dealerships, and will still sell you either one.
I asked my dealer the other day about it and they said they do the same basic thing for your bike.
My bike has a PCV and a Screaming Eagle AC installed. I bought the AC from my dealer. On the box I saw a statement "Caution, This is a performance product and may void your warranty". I asked my dealer about it and they were very non committal about it. I told them they better not give me any trouble about it because its their product, sold at their parts counter, and they sell new bikes with that product installed and provide a full warranty on the bike. They then said I didn't have anything to worry about.
Its pure Harley BS, and they just want to sell the Harley Race tuner because they make more money on that product.
the pcV void my warranty from thr MOCO when my tranny blew out. Go figure. Dealer stated (i have in writing) the SE tuner will not void anything.
You have all the elements in hand to contact your General Atty and file a case against your dealer. This is clearly a violation of the Magnusson-Moss Act and if you can find a SERT, you'll see that the MOCO wrote on the box that using it may void the warranty, which is total baloney.
