God bless you and your friends families. Yes, it really does bring into prospective just how short life is. My Brother-in-law lost his life at 49 in an auto accident. (careless driver ran a stop sign, and just that fast, he was gone) He and the wife were laughing about something seconds before....
My Mother passed away this summer while walking through the mall with a dear friend, (however she was 79) but she had just gotten her hair done and was going to shop a bit... never knew she left the mall.. but it was quick and she was also laughing with her friend seconds before God took her to be with him...
Again, God has his timing, and it's not always what we would like.
Trust in him!
Sorry. Those are the kind of friends that make our lives worth living and add so much... then they're gone. I remember when my mother, at the age of 85, told me "...getting old sucks..." I darn near fell over and then began to laugh, as I never expected to hear that from her lips. That was about nine years ago and she's gone now. Seems like the good ones go first.
