Default 'Build Date' Question...

Is there a sticker anywhere on my Ultra that has a build date, such as month and year, or better yet, month, day and year? Found the VIN in two places and a sticker in the tour-pak that seems to be the date that the tour-pak and saddle bags were made, painted and striped but would like to have the date of final assembly.

Thank you,

On the right front side of the frame, the VIN number is stamped into the frame. Several inches below that is a black sticker that has the VIN as well. Above that VIN is the month and year of mfg on the same label.

Thanks, dawg; found that sicker last night but didn't notice the month and year date, since the sticker wraps around the frame so much.

Maybe Dawg can pinpoint what is causing your clunk. Are you sure it's not your wrist popping when you pull the clutch in?

Wish someone could, but I know it's the bike, not me.

When I got my '05, the dealer gave me I guess what you would call the "build sheet" for the bike. Shows the VIN, the date of manufacture, and the count for that day (264'th bike). Also show the Model, color, options. Kind of cool.

Look on the inside of your right side cover or maybe it is the left side cover.
