Seems like people that move south after living up north all their life become a little soft. Staying here up north in the Snowbelt is not for wimps, makes you more of a survivalist. Guess that's why when we go down south for Bike Week like Daytona, we tend to become uncaged animals, can you blame us?

23F here this AM with a high expected about 40 for the day. The deep freeze is here in Middle Ga. At least the roads are dry and free of ice and snow for those that feel the need....lol. I got my shot of it yesterday.

It's 18 now in N. Ga. I'm supposed to go on a ride with 2 of my buddies at noon. The sun is shining and the roads are dry. I bet my buddies will back out! They don't have heated gear like me. After actually buying my Harley....the best money spent thus far was for heated gloves/jacket.

I just rebuilt the fire in the fireplace....lol. I satisfied the need yesterday to get in a ride. Gonna hang close to the house today for sure.

The last 3 winters here in Wisconsin have been reminiscent to the ones I remember from the 70's and 80's. I enjoy them very much because it gives us a chance to enjoy our winter sports, plus it makes the riding season that much more special when it finally gets here.
