Does the rigid design really make that much of a difference versus Semi-Rigid? I am going to be using it on the passenger seat of my SG.
IMHO the rigid design allows the bag to stand completely empty, particularily on the passenger seat without sagging...as a result, you don' thave to pack it completely full or make sure that you pack it a certain way to achieve enough rigidity to sit on the seat.

I have had a semi-rigid...and sitting on the passenger seat caused some sagging because the seat didn't provide enough support. Semi-rigids work awesome if you have a solid, hard platform to set them on, like a rack.

Check out the "Ultra Sac". They go for about $200, and I've got one that I had for my Heritage. Great piece of luggage, lots of room, guaranteed waterproof, and easy to load.

t bag has a policy if we advertise there bags in print or online we must price there product at there list not a penny off. they will cut any offender off and will not even talk too the dealer after that. also take a look at the kuryakn bags. kuryakn is a great company also with a great bag.

I have the rigid Kuryakyn bag too. I absolutely LOVE it. It has a zipper that allows you entry into the front of the bag (Not from the top) to access your shelves easily. The top loading ones are such a pain because everything you need to dig out of it, seems to be on the bottom of the pile. This bag has good sized smaller zippered pouches on the outside too for smaller, even easier to get as stuff. It can scunch down quite small for small loads and opened up for a larger load (great place to store your leathers). Also has a rain proof sheath, for bad weather. But the best of best feature is the luggage wheels. You can wheel it like a regular suitcase when you get to your destination and have to carry your luggage. This, you drag on it's wheels. Awesome, design!

what lennyeagle said. They are only one of a growing number of companies making it harder for the consumer, us, to find their products at a better price. Corbin; T-bags; Rinehart & Python both owned by LeMans Corporation (aka Drag Specialties) are but a few doing this. You see the effects when you find what you want, but don't see the price listed, and have to email someone to get the price.

I have the expandable Tahoe. I just got it this year and I'm happy with it. I used it once and there was enough room to pack stuff for two people. The expandable part is a little overrated however. It comes with a long rectangular piece of plastic that fits into some sleeves on the inside of the bag to make it rigid. I like it but I think just like with vehicles , it's all personal preference...

What is the company that sells the same bag as the Kuryakyn Full Dresser bag. Same exact thing except it is rebadged. Cheaper too from what I remember.

the Kuryakyn Grantour is also a great rigid bag. you can use it on a sissy bar or it will strap around the bottom of your seat. comes with a cable lock and you can use it as a backrest too. Eastern Performance has the best price around.
