I agree it doesn't sound reasonable but you need to watch his videos at www.boxoflube.com. His videos show the actual dyno run and results on the screen. Not a print out. He does other dyno videos, oil, air cleaner, etc.
They could have had a tight gap on the original plugs, or some other trick-foolery. I don't believe the video, although it does have the appearance of a good thing (as do most TV commercials).
