the rolands sands ones are drilled with "holes" if you will in them. the performance machine ones have thier name on the ends of the grips. they are great grips and you can get replacement rubber inserts for them from dennis kirk just a not you have to order 2 of them they arent sold in pairs don ask me how i know lol..
Got to give a shout out to Eastern Performance Cycles in Gambrills Md. I have bought from them before and always been happy. Bought a new set of PM Renthal grips Monday night at midnight, had them on the porch today when I got home. Installed (less than 10 minutes)and can't wait to try em out tomorrow. Had Kury ISOs but with my winter gloves couldn't get my hand all the way around the throttle. Rode my buddy FLTRX's bike last week with the PM grips and felt like I had much better control.
Only $104 SHIPPED from EasternPC!
+1 on eastern... my grips and speaker covers came from them, they be super fast on the shipping.
I have the PM grips on my Ultra. Not as fat around as the ISO grips everybody loves, so smaller hands (or even larger hands that like a good tight fit around the palms...no jokes please ) will find them more comfortable.
Only thing I dislike is their "black" is really gray in color. Drives me nuts. Going to order some Leatherique after talking to the owner who designed it...he says they die rubber black, and are safe to be outdoors and being held like a motorcyle grip.
i agree, great service and are quik.this is the first time i have used them and are completely satified.oh,i ordered a set of pm wheels just two days and i had them.cant beat their prices either
