This may seem odd but, does your leather fit snug or loose? The large FXRG is snug around the shoulder. The sleeves and waist was fine. The extra large is loose around the waist, but fine at the shoulder, and okay at the sleeves. Just looking for some feedback before the purchase.

I prefer the snug fit especially if wearing jacket with protection fitted. I was advised by a retailer that the less movement the better if ever you have to depend on the elbow and shoulder protection. Never actually tried it out though !!

I agree with the rational that tight is better if fitted with protective armor. My sport bike jackets were very tight...... to the point of requiring break in. My Cruiser attire is different. Like the above poster mentioned I want to be able to get air movement through it when I am on trips.

Leathers should fit good and snug. They're made that way by design. Too much room or movement is not what you want, unless you're specifically buying it to use in significantly cold weather and you're going to layer up to keep warm.

My 3 season leather jacket I like a little big so I can get a sweatshirt under it. My perforated leather jacket I wear when it's hot is tight sinceI only wear a tee shirt under it.

Mine gets almost snug with my arms out in front but a little loose with my arms at my sides. You might want to try on a few jackets of each size (see if the fit varies), also a different style may fit you better.

I have the FXRG in size large and works great with the liner removed; a bit too tight with the liner in the jacket. I've had the liner out of the jacket for two years and haven't misse it. I keep the liner in a saddebag and put it on when I take the leather jacket off when out and about.
