Duracell and I just finished up last night putting SS510G gear cams, 95 big bore kit, performance lifters, cometic .030 head gasket, Bub 7 true duals, Baisley spring (sweet), SE super tuner and the fuel line cross over quick disconnect. I was nervous about going with the stock push rods, but it seems to be running great and the engine is very quiet. Oil press right off the bat was 50 PSI then slowly came down to about 38. We are only about half way through the warm up cycles, will finish that up tonight. And it's snowing out, F%$#.
I didn't go nuts with this one, all I wanted was some thing that is strong and VERY reliable.
No pics to send right now, they are on Duracells camera,icon_beerchug:
will you dyno your upgrade to establish the best tune? i'll be watching this thread to compare it to my upcoming build.i purchased the head quarters 95st kit (with reworked heads) that was listed here by another forum member.it wasn't what i started out to do(i planned a cam upgrade and new tensioner set-up....),but it's now morphed into something pretty cool.
good luck with your new stuff!
