I did to a search and did not find this info. Sorry to those that are already informed and for the long winded post.
During my brothers 2009 Roadking police bike project, we messed up. After changing the AC, exhaust, plug wires, adding the PC-V, we test started the bike while the wheels, seat, and fenders were off the the bike.
Well, everything worked, but because the back wheel was detached, we didn't notice the belt was touching the exhaust crossover. Yep, it left a nice mark quickly.
So now we need to find a new belt (easy part) and change it. This is a fairly new bike with 2000 miles, so I am hoping the parts are not stuck too tight.
Does anyone know how much those special locking tools cost and are they only available from a stealer?
