Yeh they sure do BUT you guys need to check into stuff first
before taking the plunge!
I hate it when my ol ladys parents send me crap emails.
I always go to Snopes or Urban Legends and check to see
if it's all a Hoax and do the same as you just did KTM Scott!
Send em' an email back with some links claiming it AINT true! lol
It;s true! People will fall for the same CHIT over and over and over
and.. well you get the idea! LOL
I'm gonna get right on that as soon as I finish reading about next year's water-cooled Harleys. Oh and I have to post a question about which is the best oil to use. But definitely then.
1. If you ever put your cell # on any kind of application, telemarketers can call you.
2. Do not call lists are good but there are 100's or more and they just keep adding more stipulations as to why then can call you. Most telemarketing places just grab a block of numbers and keep calling.
3. Third and most important! If you don't answer your phone for those "weird" numbers then you don't get charged!
Yeah and next thing ya know a guy cant figure out how to download music on to his ipod.... post that in this section because its important to him when he tours and so on... I'm just sayin... there has got to be another place on this site for stuff like this... if its important to use you cell for the things you have mentioned... I'm sure a guy on a softail or dyna etc feels the same way no matter if your on a touring bike or whatever... just sayin....
Relax Newbe. I hope I never see you post anything not related to touring. Besides these kinds of things take care of them selves.
REMEMBER: Cell Phone Numbers Go Public this month.
REMINDER..... all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls.
.... YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS
To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222.
It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time.. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number.
HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON ... It takes about 20 seconds.
LOL! My elderly mother's husband keeps sending me crap like this. You must be on his mass mailing list. Snopes, dude. This one was debunked several years ago.
My cousin's friend told me he heard from this guy that Bill Gates will send a big ol fat check to whoever posts/re-posts that on every forum and blog they belong to. And since I got it in an email and read it on the innerwebs, it's gotta be true.
Relax Newbe. I hope I never see you post anything not related to touring. Besides these kinds of things take care of them selves.
Dont worry buddy you wont see me post something off touring bike topic in this forum... Im a member of 2 other forum sites and this stuff would never fly in either of those sites! I finally seen that the mods have moved several threads just like this one today! Keep up the good work mods! And not to sound like a jerk but my post and point is valid... yours means absolutly nothing... IF YOU WANT TO TALK GENERAL TOPIC GO TO THAT FORUM... thats all I was saying... good day sir.
