Default Red vs Yellow Lift

I thought I read that the Yellow jack sears...was not as sturdy...the lighter weight made it squirm with the bike on it.? Is the yellow jack lower than the red?..
I just sold my table lift...I only need a lift to move the bike around a bit and fluid changes and clean it...wheels are not easy to clean on a table lift.
No heavy wrenching goin on here...so just a cheapo sears lift for me .
I think.
Yellow
or Red
For my FLHX ...That is the question now?

Just ask yourself what your bike is worth, Nuff said..... Cut corners on

Sorry, shaking my head.

In short you get what you pay for.

Again my two philosophies.

You get what you pay for.

I'm too poor to buy cheat chit.....

I don't think the Read Sears jacks will work on any H-D bike that's lower to the ground than a stock Ultra or Road King Classic. I've use one on my Ultra and my RKC and it is a tight fit.

Exclamation yellow jack

I sold the red jack after a year and have had the yellow one for 3-4 years, I like it very much. Until I get a table lift one of these days, the yellow jack is my best alternatrive.
+1 on the yellow jack worth the extra bucks....

I really wanted a Pitbull or JS Jack, but thought I could "settle" for something less, then I watched this video (there are more on there as well) I am using my fathers red craftsman right now and its OK, but nothing special. Bike wobbles on it, jack flexes. Wouldn't trust it for long periods and would NEVER try to move the bike while on it!

Stay away from that yellow jack, it's a wobblie piece of junk compared to the red jack, I bought one used it once and took it back. I have a RK that's lowered 1" and the red jack does not slid under it without holding the bike up or riding up on a piece of plywood.

I do the same with my 09. Just use a scrap 2x6 and run the rear wheel on it and you'll be okay.

Try looking into a pitbull lift, it is really one of the best out there and it allows you to raise your bike up 3ft
