Do you have a machine shop. That takes some heavy duty equipment to turn those down and be able to index hole locations. The polishing part on a lathe is the gravey part.

Just a manual lathe at home and a manual mill at work, the older Rinehart end caps have those holes in them already. Didnt know how it woould come out just started cutting away till I liked the angle and then got the taper past the holes. Didnt do any polishing on the lathe just sanded them and then polished on a series of buffing wheels.

Very cool. They look like the endcaps on my CFRs, just a tad smaller in diameter.

Got another set chucked up. Need to give a final polish but looks pretty good so far.

Did the polished caps start out just like the black cap?

You milled these?
