If you move down to Tampa and plan to work, don't let them sell you on wheather making up for lower wages than what's found up north. It's not much cheaper if any to live here. We don't have many taxes here but we have "fees" out the wazoo. The nice sun tan you end up with won't pay the bills. Well, unless you're an exotic dancer or something. Then it might help.

I love it here and would't move back to IL for love or money.

RJ - not sure exactly, we still have our land in the Ozarks but my wife just got a job offer in Largo. I can work anywhere because most of my work is done remotely. I do know that we have both had enough of this Chicago stuff, 4 seasons a year are too many.
