posting pictures

Where do I find instructions on how to get pictures to this site from my email? Also
how to put them as an avatar? I am pretty much computer illiterate. Thanks for any
help that can be given. If I can't understand it my daughter probably can.

Click on "USER CP" at the top of the page. Scroll down the left side of that page for instructions.

save the pictures to your desktop, click start new thread, or reply to a post, click the paperclip icon above the text box, click browse, locate and upload the pictures one at a time, close the attach window, type something in the box, click post/save

I have of lately here just cut/pasted the pic to my reply.
Did a "preview post" and it was there.
So that seems to work, otherwise I had always used photobucket.
